One of my favorite things to do when I'm off the xc skis is surfing. This year in NZ I was lucky enough to get to do both in a matter of hours! After a sunny final ski at the snow farm we flew up to the North Island. Instead of going straight home Simi and I hit up the surf spot Raglan for 3 days of surfing. although the waves were not big, we had a great time surfing some smaller glassy waves and had a good time checking out a different part of New Zealand. Now I'm back in VT and will be heading up to Lake Placid Olympic training center next week for the start of our next camp.

The US Ski Team mens squad just made it down to NZ for our annual training camp. here is a quick video of our first day on snow. skiing here is always so awesome! we'll be staying at the snow farm for the next 2 weeks training with the canadian team
