The team has made their way to the Olympic training center for our annual Lake Placid training camp. This year the camp started out with the NYSEF climb to the castle roller ski race up whiteface mountain.
SMS Summer camps
Training with the next generation on xc ski racer is something that I think is hugely important. As a youngster I came to Stratton and participated in the youth camp as well as the Junior camp and it was a major factor in motivating me to take on ski racing full time and attend SMS to train.
New Zealand Training
Everyone made it down to New Zealand without any problems and believe it or not all of our baggage this time. The travel day was actually not very tough at all with an evening flight out of San Francisco and short lay-overs we were able to make it up to the snow farm in time for lunch and an afternoon ski on Tuesday.
