LP NEW YORK

The team has made their way to the Olympic training center for our annual Lake Placid training camp. This year the camp started out with the NYSEF climb to the castle roller ski race up whiteface mountain. 

The Whiteface access road is an epic 6 mile uphill road which creates one of the hardest rollerski races we do all year. This mass start race is all uphill all the time and takes about 40 minutes. This year's race had a big field featuring athletes from the US Ski Team, US NC team, CXC, and Sun Valley. 

For the next 10 days we will be training out of the Olympic training center here in New York and will be working on some hard intensity and time trials now that we have the whole team together. We have at least 2 time trials scheduled for the nest week as we try to fine tune our fitness before traveling to Europe for the World Cup season.
