Another tight finish in this weekends world cup race gave me 13th place finish here in Davos Swtzerland. the skiing has been incredible here and there is tons of snow for training. Yesterday I skied all thee valleys in 3 hours. Tomorrow I will be moving down into downtown Davos where I will be spending the next two weeks training and preparing for the start of the Tour De ski. here's a look at the photo finish. tight!
Yesterday wrapped up the Dusseldorf Sprint weekend. The sprint relay there is always one of the craziest races of the year. Simi and I were unable to stay out of the carnage, neither were Norway and Germany... check out the clip.
The Nordic Opening Weekend here in Kuusamo Finland was a big success for the US Ski Team. We continued our streak of top 10 performances and it was an exciting start to the Sprint season for me with a 6th place finish. It was a frosty start to the world cup but I was stoked to start the season with an A final finish. Next stop will be a city sprint world cup next weekend in Dusseldorf Germany.
Mounio Finland has been the first stop for the US Ski Team as we prepare for our first world cup races in Gallivare Sweden. With just a few days to adjust to the time zone we busted out a few races... here is some video from Bryan Fish.
