Europe Week 1

For the past week or so we have been adjusting to the time change here in Norway while getting in some good training and jumping in a few practice races before the world cup gets rockin. It’s always a harsh adjustment to the darkness and the cold of the far North but it feels great to be skiing again and I’m fired up to get back to racing the world cup. Our first races of the winter season where here in Beitostolen Norway and I finished 6^th in the skate sprint. Not feeling in top form but it was awesome to race against such a fast international field on my first weekend over here.

Win Down Under

We are currently at the Snow Farm in New Zealand for our summer training camp. This is one of my favorite places to ski in the world and it's great to be back.  We arrived just in time to jump into the Audi NZ winter games for a skate sprint race. It was a lot of fun to race on snow after a few months of dry-land training and great to be pushed by some of the world cup Russian and Canadian skiers that were here.
